Welcome to Houston Bonsai Society
The Houston Bonsai Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and supporting area bonsai grower artists while promoting and preserving the ancient art of bonsai.
The Society offers numerous bonsai workshops and study groups annually for beginners and advanced bonsai enthusiasts. A newsletter is sent out monthly recapping meetings and events, with detailed tips and reminders about monthly bonsai tasks, and an update from the Society’s president. Twice each year, members exhibit their finest bonsai trees during the Spring and Fall shows.

The morning begins with a social at 10 am that includes breakfast snacks and refreshments, followed by our 10:15 am educational meeting. The board of directors meets in advance at 9 am, and members are welcome to come listen in!

The Houston Bonsai Society is a member of the Lone Star Bonsai Federation, and is affiliated with the American Bonsai Society, Bonsai Clubs International, and the National Bonsai Foundation, all organizations devoted to promoting and preserving bonsai in the USA and worldwide.
